Greetings from Mġarr ix-Xini, we enjoyed a short work-brake and had a walk with our furry friend Noah and Laura, a friend of us who's here for a visit from Germany.
How do you spend your work-brakes? :)

“Am I finished with the retouch of this image or is there anything I have missed?” I am sure there are many of you who are thinking about this question. Of course, you don’t want to forward an image to your team/client if there are things you forgot to correct.
I created a checklist for you to make sure you don't forget anything. You are able to download the FREE PDF when registering for my newsletter.

Time to change - You learn from making mistakes!
Having a short coffee-break with the march-issue of Glamour (Iceland) on my work-desk... Thanks to Glamour Iceland for sending me the issue so quickly!
While browsing through the internet I found my retouching-work in the march-issue of Glamour (Iceland). It is so frustrating to see the photographer did not inform me about the publication, nor gave me credit or at least paid me for it when not even mentioning me. Every message to him remains unanswered.
This really shows how disrespectful this person is and that he has no appreciation for the work I did. If you do a free collaboration for what do you do it if not for credits? What does it help me to have my work published in Glamour without anyone knowing I did the retouching-work or getting paid for it? I am sure you can understand my frustration...
I am really done with people that do not appreciate someone's work, make use of people and want everything for free without showing respect - I am not only talking about my work, but in general. What I learned from this? For me this was the last time I let this pass without proceeding with serious steps. During the following days I will search for a good lawyer helping me to write terms of service which are going to be published on my website.
Do you have similar experiences? How do you handle such situations?
P.S.: I know some people just let others keep doing it and stay silent, but I honestly think there is some point where it is too much and you have to say something.
To the photographer of this editorial: Now you can hate me for saying this on social-media, you can pretend you retouched it all by yourself or whatever. I do not care. This is not the first time you did not gave me credit on a publication and I think people should be aware of this before deciding to work with you.
